Suchita is from Uttarakhand, India and did her B.S. and M.S. studies in Physics from Kumaun University, Nainital. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore in 2023 under the supervision of Professor Rajesh Kumar. During her doctoral training, she worked on electrochromic devices and explored their applications in energy-saving, energy-storing, and other electronic devices with the incorporation of 2D-layered materials in device fabrication. In September 2023, she joined the group of Professor Lynden Archer at Cornell as a postdoctoral researcher to work on rechargeable Aluminum-ion batteries. She likes hiking, watching movies, cycling, and traveling.
